David Bradshaw, Chair and Associate Professor with the Philosophy Department at the University of Kentucky, has written, Aristotle East and West: Metaphysics and the Division of Christendom (Cambridge University Press, 2004). His work was the subject of a colloquium entitled "The Concept of the Divine Energies in Eastern Orthodoxy" in 2008 at the University of Cambridge.

His areas of interest include ancient and medieval philosophy and philosophy of religion. Recent publications include: "Augustine the Metaphysician," Orthodox Readings of Augustine, ed. Aristotle Papanikolaou and George Demacopoulos (St. Vladimir’s Seminary Press, 2008), "Time and Eternity in the Greek Fathers," The Thomist 70 (2006), and "The Concept of the Divine Energies," Philosophy and Theology 18 (2006).
